Cute little puppers! –tracy c.
My students love this story. This book is great for practicing the skill of prediction and inferring! I love it when a little book like this actually makes me chuckle! Great ending too! (Posted on 6/16/2012)
fun for students –Judy
This is a fun book for students. They think it is funny that Bella and Rosie think the five little dogs are cats. They are glad when the five little dogs finally prove they are dogs and not cats. (Posted on 6/1/2012)
A favorite story for familiar reading! –Helen
Did you ever wonder what a dog is thinking? This delightful book poses the question, "What is a dog?" Bella and Rosie test the five little dogs to see if they really are dogs--not cats! This book if good for making predictions, story extension in the child's writing, expression and fluency work, and just plain enjoyment. It is a favorite of mine and my students! Super book for expression and tone of the characters! –Valorie S.
This book is hysterical! I love the sense of humor when Bellas and Rosie call the dogs "cats". Those five little dogs are just so insulted about being mistaken for cats. The ending is pretty funny as well when Rosie finds out that they really are dogs and that they've eaten all her dog food! (Posted on 5/23/2012)
