Reviews
Cute book –Cindy
We loved the book! We know why Santa did not want any cookies. (Posted on 12/11/2015)
Funny story that children can relate to! –Deanna
I enjoyed this story! It's so funny how Santa keeps eating the cookies until he is too full to eat the final batch when Mrs. Claus offers them to him! Another story children may relate to about eating too many sweets. Again, the repetition is so great for early readers! Very nice story! (Posted on 12/29/2011)
What's wrong with Santa? –Sophia
Santa loves Mrs. Claus' cookies so much that he eats all of the cookies she makes. Mrs. Claus and Little Elf can't figure out what happened to them so they keep making more. Mrs. Claus tries to give Santa some cookies at the end but he doesn't want them. I love the ending because it leaves it open-ended and my kids can write the last page. I just love this series! Sense of humor –jessie
Loved this book....can totally relate! The students will be engaged and want to know what will happen to the cookies next. (Posted on 12/21/2011)
The reader knows the scoop, but will Mrs. Claus figure out where the cookies went? –Vicki
Mr. Claus keeps making cookies for Santa, but every time she leaves them to cool they disappear! When Mrs. Claus finally offers cookies to Santa, he rubs his belly and says he isn't hungry. Hmmm.
Little Elf is a wonderful character. In this story he gets to help ......lick the bowl! You and your students will love the Little Elf books. The vibrant, detailed illustrations enhance the clever storyline. A few repetitive phrases proprel young readers through the text. The text font is clean with excellent spacing between words and between lines of print. The only thing I don't like in this text is the picture layout on pages 10 and 11. It can be a bit confusing for students. But, there are so many things to appreciate about this book. (Posted on 12/21/2011)

Cookies for Santa –JustJane
Santa is eating the cookies as soon as Mrs. Claus puts them out to cool. But Little Elf and Mrs. Claus can't figure out what is happening to the cookies. Until Santa does not want to eat the cookies because he is too full! A funny story and the students get the humor. (Posted on 12/8/2011)
