Reviews
Readers of all ages love these! –Bridgett
As a Reading Specialist and Reading Recovery teacher, I've used the Jack & Daisy series with first through fifth graders. I thought that students above second grade may feel that they were too mature for these books, but this has not been an issue. On the contrary my older (and younger!!) students have been excited about reading them, and requested more. It helps that many of the books in this series also star Bella and Rosie! I really like using these for building fluency, as we read like each character, because there is a large amount of dialogue in most of the books. I highly recommend adding these to your collection! Students Love Them! –Bethdurbin4
I am a Reading Recovery Teacher. My students love books from Pioneer Valley! First, we found the Rosie and Bella books. My kids love to see what adventures they are going to have and what mischief they will get into. Now, we have added the Jack and Daisy books! They love them all!! I also bought some of the Tiny Treasure books to give to my granddaughter to start her joy of reading! Thanks so much! (Posted on 12/26/2013)
Adventure –Parralee
My students love that Jack is adventurous - especially my boys! The stories have inspired one of my students to write his own Jack and Daisy stories during the writing time of our Reading Recovery lessons. (Posted on 12/26/2013)
Suggestion about Early Chapter Books –Bev
My students are enjoying all of the adventures Jack and Daisy get into. They especially enjoy the books that include Bella and Rosie. These books have been valuable to me both as a Reading Recovery teacher and now as a first grade classroom teacher. I would love to see some early chapter books about Jack and Daisy. I have found that the early chapter books give my struggling readers a sense of accomplishment as these are the first "chapter books" they are able to read. Thank you for all you do for literacy of young children. (Posted on 2/4/2012)
Books that get kids excited about reading! –Katie
I love seeing the excitement in my students' faces when they get to read a Jack and Daisy book! Each book presents some new learning embedded in an adventure that leaves kids wanting more! They especially love the books that include Bella and Rosie with Jack and Daisy. (Posted on 1/31/2012)
We love reading about Jack and Daisy! –Christy
Jack and Daisy go on so many exciting adventures! My students love reading about things that dogs really think about! Like chasing a squirrel up a tree and what is a squirrel? I like how it builds the vocabulary and helps children understand that they may have questions about words, just like Jack and Daisy. (Posted on 1/29/2012)
Humor and Adventure –Missy
I am a Reading Recovery teacher and I have found that my students enjoy the stories about animals that Pioneer Valley provides. The Jack and Daisy books are make a special connection with my students because of the humor and sense of adventure in the stories. And, who couldn't fall in love with those cute dogs!

My students and I just love Jack and Daisy books. We like all the adventures they have with Bella and Rosie. Some of our favorites are Daisy's Tiny Things and Daisy's Party Dresses from the Tiny Treasures Collection. (Posted on 1/13/2012)
