A lot of bang for your buck –vjj
- You will want this book, as there is a lot more reading going on in this early level text than in some higher level texts by other publishers. The repetitive nature of the text supports the emergent reader and allows them to fill a sense of accomplishment! (Posted on 2/3/12)

empathy –Betty
- My first graders have empathy for Jack because many times their older siblings say they are too little to do things. (Posted on 2/1/12)

Great sequel to Bella & Rosie books! –Bonnie

Great book for beginning readers! –Jacqueline
- Jack tries over and over again to entice Bella, Rosie, and finally Daisy to play with him and his green ball. The repeating text provides exposure to a variety of structures of sentences and questions that are good for language development and for practicing fluency. Students will love it! Another great book –Sue
- For younger readers the font size and large spacing between words is excellent. The repetitive use of the sight words is great practice for those words. The illustrations are colorful and realistic. Would recommend the book. (Posted on 1/10/12)
