Kids love seeing their favorite characters –Deb
- Kids love this book where they get to catch up with their favorite characters. They also laugh about the super dog cape and remember and compare this book with Super Dog. Nice study in punctuation. Could be read as a readers theater in a group. (Posted on 1/24/12)

Jack and Daisy books –Jacqueline
- "A Playmate for Jack" provides a repetitive structure that supports the beginning reader, but with enough variation to challenge as well. Students will enjoy reading about Jack, who is usually gullible and confused, becoming a different dog when he dresses up as Super Dog. Will he find a friend? (Posted on 1/17/12)

Good book for reading puncuation –P
- I found the book a little "stiff" when reading the first time. However, when I looked at it again, it is a great book to talk about how important reading punctuation is to a story. It is also at a good level to have the puncuation discussion. (Posted on 1/11/12)
